I am extremely passionate when it comes to property. I started investing in the UK market in 2008. Over the years, I have built a diverse portfolio of properties and also have experience in planning and development.
As a landlord first, I am well aware of the frustrations so many landlords face when dealing with typical letting agents. I set out to reduce these frustrations through my own lettings service by focusing on our customers first (both tenants and landlords). By systematising the business to make it run smoothly and efficiently and hiring high-quality staff with brilliant expertise in their individual fields, I am able to help landlords improve and expand their portfolios through my knowledge and expertise. I also run the largest property networking meet in Reading (Reading Property Meet) and have done so for over 7 years to help other landlords in the local area.
I am a Portfolio landlord who has done over 300 purchases in the last 10 years. I prefer to buy and hold, buy-refurb-refinance in higher yielding areas. From this I have built a substantial residential portfolio, with some commercial property thrown in. I have JV experience running into 8-figures and have bought and sold trading businesses and limited companies with property assets. I am a partner at Partners in Property (PIP) where we host monthly events in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, and online. I also travel the country to talk to other landlords and aspiring investors at various property meets.
My passion for property started around 22 years ago when I started working for my family's estate agency in Windsor. I love everything to do with property, from management to selling and renovating. My partner and I own The Beetle and Wedge Boathouse in Moulsford, which is a thriving and successful riverside restaurant. I am also a mum to my beautiful daughter, Grace, who is studying hard at Lancaster University. I love to spend my free time walking for hours with Lucy, our spaniel. I really have found where I belong here, the team are my second family. I'm so proud of what we have achieved and look forward to our future together.
I started working in Sales in 2013 and began to develop a strong love and passion for property. I bought in as a director of the Estate Agency in 2018, alongside purchasing my first buy to let! We sold the business in 2019 which has allowed me to grow my personal portfolio over the last few years while continuing my work in Sales. I am looking forward to focusing on acquisitions and exploring different investment opportunities. I am excited to meet people with different ideas and views and see the team succeed together. I have been a championship-winning Irish Dancer since the age of 4 and when I'm not at work I enjoy traveling the world and going on long country walks with my partner.
I am mum to two lovely little boys and happily married to my husband, who is the Director of Health and Safety at a global facility management company - you can only imagine the fun compliance conversations we get into at the dinner table! I use my expertise to ensure we have efficient and effective systems in place. My attention to detail and organisational skills were developed during my 10 years of experience working in healthcare compliance and governance. I value integrity, trust, and honesty very highly in both my personal and professional lives, and it is a pleasure to work alongside colleagues who share the same values in the work they do. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to podcasts about science and philosophy. I also serve as a governor at my youngest son's nursery school, as I'm passionate about contributing to my local community.
Having been involved in the property industry since I was nine through my family's property business, I have grown up with a love and passion for all things property. After working at multiple estate agencies over the past few years, I have found where I want to stay. I was born and raised in Beaconsfield and have always loved being surrounded by gorgeous architecture and scenic views. Having lived in London for my undergraduate degree, I am looking forward to returning to a town of equal natural beauty to continue my property career. Alongside property, I have a background in psychology, musical theatre, and classical singing. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading about the latest psychological developments, every fiction book available, and expanding my musical repertoire.
I manage all the internal accounts at Property Foundations Group alongside Adam, our director. I started freelance bookkeeping in 2008 and I achieved my Professional Diploma in Accounting with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) in 2014 at Alton College. While I studied my AAT, I spent two years working part time at a local accounting practice in Basingstoke, alongside running my own business. I have worked with several types of businesses and find my extraordinary organisational skills are a perfect match for busy business owners. Outside of the office, I can be found in the woods walking my three dogs or in the kitchen baking cakes! In the office, I wouldn't survive without my Post-it Notes!
Raised in Henley and surrounding areas, I recently made the decision to move back to where my career first began. I started off as a Property Negotiator at the age of 19 in Henley and have since worked in Marlow, London & Berkshire over the last 10 years. Keen to be back in the area I know so well and to work with the award winning agent that is Bonds. Originally Portuguese, I have called the UK my home for over 25 years. I am committed to finding people their dreams homes with a friendly tailored experience.
I moved to South Oxfordshire in the year 2000, primarily to bring up my children in the beautiful surroundings of the Chiltern Hills. I feel privileged that they were educated at such excellent locals schools. Having worked at Henley Golf Club and a few country pubs I feel very much part of the local community. Three years ago I re-trained as an Inventory Clerk to utilise my keen eye for detail - a job which I thoroughly enjoy. In my spare time I love to catch up with my friends and plan my next travels.
Having joined the financial services industry in 1989, starting out at Lloyds Banking Group in the banking sector. I joined the financial advising arena early in the 1990's under the guidance of Allied Dunbar, this has allowed me to specialise in the Mortgage and Protection field. Other interests are football, fishing and spending time in the great outdoors – I have played and coached football at a high standard which included coaching a National Team during a World Cup campaign, was also coaching in Henley On Thames for over 25 years at the Henley Soccer School.
My name is Lucy, I'm three years old and apparently, according to my mummy, I'm an English Springer Spaniel, but I think I'm completely human just like her. My role is an incredibly important one. I make sure that everyone is happy, smiling, and getting lots of cuddles. One of my favourite things to do when I'm not working is playing with my Gun Dog friends and looking for those pesky Pheasants. But my favourite thing is going for long walkies with mummy and a huge lake and sniffing absolutely everything I see. If you visit me at the office, I promise to share my toys with you!
